A Word About The Competition
We have had a few inquiries from customers asking us why IceJerseys.com charges from $54 to $79 for customization (depending on how many layers of twill a team uses on their jersey), while some competitors only charge $55 (on a Premier Replica Jersey). At first glance, it looks like the competition has a sweet deal on customization… but what do you get for your $55? Unfortunately it is far from authentic customization – and this is not necessarily so evident. If you carefully read the small print in the features description, you will see that your Premier Replica jersey will be customized with “Single layer screen-printed twill personalized name and number heat pressed on the back”. What does this mean? If you order a jersey that is worn on-ice with multiple layers of twill (such as the Pittsburgh Penguins Dark Jersey, or the Montreal Canadiens Dark Jersey), you will have one-color twill, with the additional trim colors simply screen-printed on top. The twill will only be heat-pressed to your jersey, not sewn.

We understand that for some, the $29 savings is worth the sacrifice of authenticity – and we have no problem with that.
